Breakfast Pizza

Have you seen that Pillsbury* now has crescent roll dough without the perforated triangles?! Please tell me I'm  not the only one geeking out about this!?

Without the perforated lines in the crescent dough you don't have to worry about cracks and leakage of contents. I make a number of dishes with (yes I'm admitting this) Pillsbury refrigerator dough - homemade pork burns, pork chops and applesauce, pain au chocolat, and this time....BREAKFAST PIZZA!  The family loved it!

I precooked the dough to ensure it was crisp and flaky, before topping it with soft scrambled eggs, fresh baby spinach, breakfast sausage and grated mozzarella cheese.  Pop it back in the oven just long enough to melt the cheese. Add hot sauce, ketchup, salsa...whatever tops your pizza.

The options are endless - sweet, savory, spicy.... I can't wait to try out another recipe. I promise to share.
